Overview
The Glossop Guild was formed in 2009 to promote liberal education in and around the town.
Glossop is a former mill town at the northern end of the Peak District National Park in the United Kingdom. The Guild is a non-profit organisation which endeavours to promote a wide range of courses, all of which we provide for the interests and enlightenment of participants. The Guild aims to select tutors on the basis of their ability to present lively and challenging courses, as well as for their expertise and experience. Members and participants are encouraged to contribute their own views and engage in informative discussion. All courses are open to both members and non-members.
Bookings are now being taken for Autumn Zoom and Venue courses, please remember that Guild membership runs from 1st May 2026 to 31st April 2027. Please check that your membership is up to date.

As a small non profit organisation Glossop Guild are exempt from registration with the ICO for data protection act purposes.
